Saygıdeğer Hanımefendiler, Beyefendiler ve sevgili vakıf Dostlarımız!

Sayın Profösör Lippold ve ben sizlere, Asya ile Avrupa'yı birleştiren ve ikibin yıldan fazla geçmişe sahip olan İstanbul'a ve bu muhteşem Çırağan Sarayı'na hoşgeldiniz diyoruz. Galenus Vakfı 2004 yılında kurulmuş olmasına rağmen şu ana kadar 110 kişiden fazla biofarmakoloji ve farmakoloji teknolojisi alanında araştırma yapan genç bilim insanlarını desteklemiştir. Bu akşamın Galenus Vakfı'nın ileride destekleyeceği diğer bilim insanlarına bir adım daha yaklaştırmasını ümit ediyoruz.

Sayın Profösör Lippold ve ben soru, görüş ve önerilerinizi bekliyoruz. Sizlere verimli görüşmeler ve ilginç tanışmalarla dolu güzel bir akşam diliyoruz!

Ladies, Gentlemen and dear friends of our foundation,

Prof. Lippold and I welcome you to the Bosporus Terrace of the Ciragan Palace in Istanbul, a city with a more than 2000 year unbroken history straddling Asia and Europe.
Although the Galenus Foundation war only established in 2004, the foundation has during this time supported more than 110 young scientists in Pharmaceutical Technology and Bio-pharmacy.
We hope that this evening will serve to promote the aims of the foundation and enable us to move forward with this vital work. We hope that you will have a wonderful time and that you will make valuable contacts with colleagues and have interesting discussions.
If you have questions about and suggestions for the foundation, Prof. Lippold and myself will be available at any time to help answer them.
All that is left of this speech is to kick-off this evening`s festivities which we hope you will enjoy.
